The prototypes step is the most important step in shoe collection production. It is the moment of testing, amendments and fine tuning.

This part of the process helps understanding, refining and validating designs with the ultimate goal of releasing the right products.

All the efforts put in this step, by our trusted professionals, are meant to reach the ultimate goal: perfect fit and flawless shoes.

After the proto step, the final samples come to life and they are ready to be exhibited at shoe fairs, fashion shows and showrooms.

And the selling can start!

Are samples interchangeable with prototypes?

NO!

A prototype is the first model created from the design brief, it often needs to be fixed or changed in order to reach the aesthetic quality and functionality imagined by the designer.

The sample or final sample comes after the fine-tuning of the prototype. After the final sample has been made, production can start.

So the product development process goes like this: design brief, prototype, final sample and production.
